Anyone got problems with angles?

Hello,

I'm trying to backup Ice Age 2 Spanish R2. I have used Ripit4me latest version.

I remove all the stuff that I don´t want, like audio tracks and logos, and when I export the dvd, everything looks fine, but later, using Media Player Classic I see a little a cut in the sound, and what is even worse, when I playback in my dvd player, in the same place than before where there is a change of angle, the video and sound freezes.

Anybody got this problem?.

What version of DvdReMake (Pro) would this be? Did you strip an angle?

What RipIt4Me version did you use? And what mode?

Re: Anyone got problems with angles?

I think that with the latest DVDRemake Pro, although I have tested with older ones. I didn´t strip any angle. Only stripping one of them, I could make a working copy of the film.

About RipIt4me, 1.5.1.0 and I have used wizard mode in full backup.

Re: Anyone got problems with angles?

Please state the current version you're using. By older ones, which ones? Does any of them work fine? If not, do they behave the same thing?

Does the video and audio freeze before every angle change or just one for the current version?

Only this DVD has the problem or other multi-angle DVDs have as well?

Re: Anyone got problems with angles?

Well, the latest one that I've got is 3.5.3. The others are 3.4.1 and 3.1.4 and nothing, always the same thing.

I have see that the two ILVU scenes both got two cells. The first angle is a long one program with the title ICE AGE, in the cell 1 with just english, and in the cell 2 for spanish logo. Then there is a second one, very short, about five seconds, and it goes cell 3 and cell 4 but I don´t see anything diferent between them. And it's in this second scene when it tries to link with the normal stream where it freezes.

Watching it at the standalone player, it freezes at half, near end of the second program with angles, it's like if it can´t link with the normal stream. And if I rewind a bit or forward it, it plays normal, but if I don´t do anything then it freezes. But testing it with Media Player Classic, there is a little cut in the sound just at the beggining of the second program with angles, I mean where are Cell 3 and 4.

I hope to explain me right.

About the last one, it's the first multi-angle I play with. Other similar was "Polar Express" but I was watching that this one uses multi-titles or something similar because it set a title or other depeding of the language you choose.

I hope it helps .

Re: Anyone got problems with angles?

Your explanation is clear. Try downloading the demo and export it with no changes. You should not have this problem. Once it's confirmed that there is no issue, then download a valid version from Dimadsoft account.

Re: Anyone got problems with angles?

At the end I couldn´t test the dvd because the demo version not allow to export dvd's with multiangles . So the only thing that I can do is strip an angle and leave just one.

Really I don´t understand why there is a second program with just a few seconds and those two cells . I don´t understand which is the purpose .

By the way, thank you for your help toaddub .

Re: Anyone got problems with angles?

Hi again,

I have tested with WinDVD first and with PowerDVD later and both plays fine. It should be again, my DVD player, a "picky" JVC 33, arg .
