Slow burning with 1ClickDVDCopy

I used 1Click DVD Copy today for the first time. It ripped at about the same speed as DVD Shrink.

However when I burnt the files it was burnt at approx 1.75x. I used 8 speed TDK -R disks and burnt using my LG 4163B. Took half an hour to burn which is totally unacceptable.

Any answers?

Re: Slow burning with 1ClickDVDCopy

Check in the log file to see what the available write speed of the media is, and whether or not it says if your DMA settings are disabled.

To find the log file, search for c2cd.log. Then open that file and you'll be able to find that information.

I have uninstalled this software. However, I remember it showing the speed of the media at4x/8x.

The interesting thing is that my Master hard drive is showing in the BIOS as UDMA5 whilst under System in Windows it shows as PIO.

Some program, recently installed, seems to have upset the apple cart.

I tried doing a System restore but Windows couldn't do it.

See http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=101616 for a guide on enabling DMA.
