Recorded dvd is Empty

Problem: When I burn a DVD movie (from a ripped disc), the burned DVD is blank.

I have 1ClickDVDCopy v. 4.1.1.8 and DVD43 v. 3.6.2.111 (the free one) installed. My burner is a Pioneer DVR-107D. I do not have any options checked in the 1Click dialogue box, but I have the "Remove Audio CD protection" and "Remove Analogue Video Copy protection" on in the DVD43 , though these are defaults.

At the end of the burn, it says that the burn was successful, even though its blank. I contacted 1Click and sent them the log file and they said it worked, but alas the disc is still blank.

To try to solve this I refomatted my computer and burned again, same result.

Any ideas? thanks!

Re: Recorded dvd is Empty

First things first you are using software that is about 3-4 months outdated! The latest version of 1Click is version 4.2.9.1 it has copytodvd integrated in the 1click folder so no need to install copytodvd seperately!

I would suggest getting rid of dvd43 as it causes problems for most users eventually! Try ANYdvd as your decrypter! It has a 21 day free trial and if you like it then you buy it!

Here is a link for ANYDVD. There is a link in my signature for 1click.

Be sure to uninstall 1click and copytodvd and then search your harddrive for any instances of these programs and delete any found, then rebootbefore you install the new version of 1Click.

Then install anydvd and you should be fine to go!

Totally agree on AnyDVD, it works like a charm with 1ClickDVDCopy 4.2.9.1, it's always updated when problems arise, such as new copy protections, etc.

I did as you suggested (newest version of 1Click and anydvd) and got a new problem in that now when I try to burn i get a message from 1click saying that my DVD-Rw is "unavailable". When i stick a blank DVD in the drive it says that it can't read it.

I posted this in the anydvd forum thinking it was a anydvd problem but everybiody seems to be telling me its not. i removed 1click and reinstalled and same problem.

I then unistalled 1click and anydvd and have same problem with dvd-rw in that it will not recognize blank DVDs, but will play movies.

The only other thing I did was top update the firmware as suggested by the 1click help. I have a Pioneer DVR 107D and the new firmware is the 1.22 version.

Any other ideas?
