Hey i have been having trouble getting the DVD's to burn properly. it countinues to complete the burn, but when it reaches 50% finalized it stops. after a couple minutes at 50% it says that it successfully completed the burn, but no DVD players or my computer are able to read the disc. i also noticed that before this problem occured the disc tray would eject, but now it doesn't. so any advice would be helpful. thanks.

Are you using DVD -Rs ?

Right Click on the 1Click Interface > Settings Menu
Set= Your "DVD-R Write Mode" at "TRY SAO First"

Also ....
UNCheck= "Enable media stats collection - VSO"

As I had suggested ...Try ....

Right Click on the 1Click Interface > Settings Menu
Set= Your "DVD-R Write Mode" at "TRY SAO First"
UNCheck= "Enable media stats collection - VSO"

SET= Your "Preferred Burn Speed" at 4x

If you would 'Free-Up" some resources
- You might get a good Burn at 8x
( if you're not all ready ; Avg. burn rate 4.84 ? )
You're using 16x Media .... after all

Try using EnditALL while Copying/Burning
... to free up your resources
... You might be surprised at what's running - in the background

You should also , Go into Msconfig - and Deselect unneeded Programs
- from your 'Start Up"
This will help alot .....

Here's another nice ... little trick
After Closing Down - All UN-Necessary Programs .....
Open AdvancedWindowsCarePersonal > Tools > Memory Cleaner > Clean Now
After Complete > Press "Clean Now" again
This will ReClaim any Unused Memory
.... before "RAM Cleaning" I'll Read : 50-80%
.... after cleaning : about 37%
