Problem with 1Click COPYING Episodic DVDs Hoping someone can help resolve a problem I keep having, although i'm new to 1Click I am learning everday and I have managed to successfully copy and burn Movie DVDs but when it comes to Episodic DVDs (ie. Friends, Desperate Housewives etc) I cannot or rather 1Click cannot get passed the COPYING process as either a 'THotkey.exe' or 'Cannot load powrprof.dll' error message comes up and my computer immediately shuts down completely. I have 1Click DVD Copy 4.2.9.2 and although I initially used dvd43 (having uninstalled completely including ALL files from my pc) I know use Anydvd, but have had the same error messages using both. I have also checked in Options 'Extras or Episodes', 'Menus' AND 'Extras or Episodes' and have also tried checking 'Include Subtitles' but still I cannot copy the dvds succesfully. 1Click will confirm that the dvd is an 'Episodes' dvd and will begin copying but after a while the error message(s) pop up and my computer shuts down. WHY!!????!!!! Yours frustratingly!!!

Re: Problem with 1Click COPYING Episodic DVDs I see you have asked for help at the 1Click forum, I would add that you might want to install "Enditall" with this program you can shut down all programs that are running; you should "protect" AnyDVD from closing (you will see how inside Enditall). I have read where several folks have had problems with 1Click when using McAfee products, so insure that it is also shut down. If this fails, then you should send a detail email to 1Click support referencing the errors and which episode dvds you are trying to backup, give them all the info you can.

Re: Problem with 1Click COPYING Episodic DVDs I haven't seen that problem before, but do let us know how you go with Enditall. Sounds like something else is interfering during the process, but its interesting that it only occurs with Episode DVDs.

Re: Problem with 1Click COPYING Episodic DVDs I would suspect that possibly in the use/removal of DVD43 , that something has become corrupted within the 1Click program. This sounds like a good time for a 'Registry Cleaner' program . I would also try Refreshing 1Click and/or AnyDVD . First I would try simply re installing again , over the existing program(s) Rebooting after each . This may sort things out . It may be necessary to remove the program(s) and start with a fresh installation . I might recommend Disabling the Anti Virus/Internet Security/Firewall During (re)installation to avoid any prevention . Remember to manually reselect your drives , 'source' and 'destination' before trying the 'refreshed' application ![]()
