no sound no sound

1ClickDVDCopy Discuss, no sound at Copy Movie forum; ok here is one i havent had until now. one movie behind enemy lines recordes the video but has no sound. anyone have any ideas? im using 1clickdvd . ive tried this movie the other day and once last night after downloading the latest rev of 1click both have video but

no sound

anyone have any ideas?
im using 1clickdvd. ive tried this movie the other day and once last night after downloading the latest rev of 1click both have video but no sound. Im also using anydvd.

What version of 1Click are you using, is it regular or PRO and what options do you have selected?

Did you select DTS, if so your standalone might not be capable; only giving food for thought since you did not give the settings for the backup

Also, try changing the audio using your DVD players' remote control. I've had a couple back-ups that defaulted to an uncopied audio stream and changing to the AC3 5.1 it played fine.

Im using regular 1 click and as i stated I downloaded a rew rev friday morning.

Post the session of "Behind Enemy Lines"
from your 1Click log .

Open 1Click >> F8 > 1Click log >> Copy and Paste in reply .

This log will read what has been selected by you ,
and more importantly : what was backed-up by 1Click .

We may then be able to advise correction .

According to this you should have sound ,
Toggle the 'audio selection' on the remote
or go to the DVD 'Set-up" menu and select DD 5.1.

Check the 'Options Menu' in your DVD player itself - which 'sound option' is set as default ?

Check you A/V leads , the sound should be there .


Normally , when selecting the "extras" , I also select "menus"
At times , it reinforces menu functions ...

Having said all this I think I found your problem -

Is This a DTS "only" version ?
Are you sure there is a Dolby Digital 5.1 track on this DVD ?
Does the "Original" play sound ?

if still no joy , Try also - selecting "ALL Languages"

Are your DVD player AND your audio receiver ( if applicable ) DTS compliant ?
