Need Advice!!!!!!!!

I am going to be buying some kind of software... I used to have DVDXCOPY Platinum but I ran out of my installation limit. I have done my research and I think I am between either 1Click or CloneDVD. I am fairly familiar with the features of them, but I wanted feedback. Some Questions:With DVDXCOPY I started getting errors with certain kinds of movies, I think they were the ones w/ Sony Arccos protection so, which software is less likely to have errors with certain DVDs? Do they both get past the Arccos Protection? Which is more reliable overall? Is there any difference in output quality between the two? If I got 1Click is there anything wrong w/ just getting DVD43 to accompany it (free is good)?-- I know they are a lot of questions but I really appreciate all of the input! Thanks so much!!!

Re: Need Advice!!!!!!!!

You do know that there are many freeware alternatives.

First, I would download and install both DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink.

Then I would download and install either (or both) RipIt4Me and DVDFab Decrypter.

I use RipIt4Me and DVDFab Decrypter to RIP stuff to the hard drive. RipIt4Me uses the DVD Decrypter engine, and DVDFab Decrypter, even though the name is similar to the original DVD Decrypter app, is a separate ripping program that is stand-alone.

Then I tweak stuff with DVD Shrink until I get the video just the way I want it, and I use either Nero or ImgBurn (free) to burn the DVD video.

Good stuff - all of it. No need to pay for that stuff if you don't need to, right?

Yes , 1Click's CPRx works great with DVD43
1Click is even better with AnyDVD

I have Both 1ClickDVDCopy and CloneDVD2 ( AnyDVD )

AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 both have a free 21 day trial
- enjoy
1Click has a 10 day or 3 burn trial period ( whichever comes first )

I'd recommend that you try both
Use the AnyDVD free trail for both
Burn a few with CloneDVD First
- to make sure that all is in order ( burning )
Then try 1Click

CloneDVD2 is a little more versatile
1ClickDVDCopy has better compression

They are both a lot more convenient than the freeware
- but give that a try too
