[moved] dvd burner wont show up in dvd ripping software?!?!? - Club CDFreaks

Hi, i got this drive today (nd-3540a) installed it without a prob and burnt a couple dvds i had on my pc with nero, then i went to use my 1click dvd copy program my dvd drive wont show up when i try to select the source or destination...the same thing happens with super dvd creator program. i have tried reinstalling those programs and also updating the drives firmware to the latest but it doesn't help.
btw. the drive Does show up in my computer.

anybody know whats wrong?

ohhhhh i just tried a mpeg video file and it worked! i think its just because i was trying xvid video files... but still, is there any way to fix that? like a codec for the programs or something?

hmmmm but if that was the problem then my vob dvd files that i had to burn with nero,they should have worked in 1click dvd copy

nvm lol i was just going by if i could preview the video in super dvd creator, because with the xvid it just showed up black and only played audio. so once again...it still wont show my dvd brurner for the source or destination (just blank) thinking it just has to do with a codec now... but i'm prbly wrong...thats why i'm here!

Is the only thing you see in the source and destination field "Select a hard drive folder"?

Yup, I'd suggest you update the burn engine, here's the link:

http://vso.nerim.net/copytodvd3SE.exe

This will re-install the Patin Couffin driver, and you should then be able to see your burners in the drop down list for Source and Destination, select them, and copy your movies.

I would suggest downloading the new 1Click DVD Copy 4.2.9.1, very stable and reliable. I get 6-7 minute burns, which is by far the best I have gotten from any program I've tried.
