Did you enable the 'Aggressive I/O Mode' - in the AnyDVD Settings ?

Wait a few minutes before trying to eject this media,
a background format is in progress

Try this upgrade but uninstall the old version first, restart and install the upgrade. Make certain you have your registration key.

But the user would still need to enable the "agressive I/O mode" as shannon has suggested

I enabled the aggressive I/O mode and it seems to work ok. I was having trouble backing up Superman Returns. The work around that I used was to have AnyDVD copy it to hard drive then I burned it. Worked out just fine. Does anyone know if there is a fix that is going to be added to solve this issue?

There is no fix needed. JUST ENABLE THE AGGRESSIVE CHECKBOX.
