I recently purchased 1 Click DVD Copy 4.2, but continually get the same message during writing of the DVD. The description says "Write error at 952864 (16) - Code 053005 {Illegal request, cannot write medium, incompatible format]. How do I fix this problem?

What version of 1Clickdvdcopy are you using and could you post a copytodvd log file so we can have a look!

This is usually a poor media issue! Do as 4hams says and we'll have a look.

This error usually means your burner and it's firmware do not like your choice of media!
You should check to see if there is a firmware update for your burner and see if that helps.

When burning dvd's it is very important to use good quality media such as Sony, Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden or FujiFilm made in Japan. The key here is to remember made in Japan.

You can also open up the copytodvd settings and under the writing devices tab take the check mark out of the -R SAO first box and try again. This will force copytodvd to use Packet writing format first. which may work better for your particular burner.
