| DVD shrink error "specified file not found" help please I have windows XP, I downloaded DVD Decryptor, Ripit4me, and Fixvts. I changed the path, because I got a path error, then I got "sector 16 cannot read while parsing files" (fixed that by changing the usercheckcode from 0 to 1) now I'm back to where I started. Still getting DVD shrink error "cannot find specified file". Oh, and I tried right clicking on the DVD icon and unchecking the 'protect box" (In case this isn't clear, this DVD shrink error occurs when I am using 1 click Ripit4me). The ripit4me program goes so far, then I get the DVD shrink error and the Ripit4me aborts) I have looked and looked on these forums and I'm out of ideas. thanks much to anyone who can help. |

| Re: DVD shrink error "specified file not found" help please This 1Click forum is devoted to 1ClickDVDCopy from LG Software Innovations. The "1Click" feature in Ripit4me is something all together different. My guess on what you are encountering, however, is that you are trying to back up something that has some exotic authoring with dummy .vobs, etc., and Ripit4me is choking on it. That would explain the error messages you are receiving. Your options -- Get something that costs like AnyDVD or try another free decrypter that keeps up with the new protections like DVDfab. |
