dvd-rw copied movie won't play.

Hi, I am a newbie to recording dvd's. I have 1clickdvdcopy5 and anydvd. I just tried recording barbie mermaidia to a dvd-rw and I thought that it worked but when I put it in my dvd player it just kept saying that it was loading but would never start, I tried it on my computer and it played until it got to the menu to click on play, then I click play and it just showed a black screen. I wondered if it was ready after 1click ejected it or was I supposed TO BURN it in another program to finalize it. The dvd-rw I used was a memorex 2x 4.7gb 120min. Is it because the dvd-rw that I used is only 2x, my 1 click was set to 16x write speed. I used an rw, because I read in the forum somewhere that a lady uses rw's first to make sure it works then she puts them on the r's. I have also read that the ty's and verbatims are the best to use, I was just trying it out on what I already have, planning on buying better quality tomorrow. I have updated firmware and dma is enabled, I have tried to do my homework by reading the forums before I ask for help. I posted this in the newbie forum first and I got a reply that it might be better to post this in this forum. Sorry its so long, just trying to be thorough.
Here is my log. Thanks for any help.

Re: dvd-rw copied movie won't play.

Memorex tends to be highly questionable media these days and the problem could just be down to that. That particular RW media would appear to be a 2x DVD-RW which I'd guess would be best off in the bin.

Personally I only use Verbatim RW media , both CD & DVD.

Not only ladies do this , it's a sensible approach for anyone until you're comfortable with the process.
