Re: Can't copy with 1clickdvd

Hi Jenni

I'm using 1click 4.2 and dvd43 3.9.0.0; I have 512 mb ram and 10 gigs free of hd; It's a fairly new computer; Do I have to upgrade to the newest version of 1 click? Thanks

Re: Can't copy with 1clickdvd

DVD43 works on some but if you go to slysoft and download a trial version of AnyDVD that may work with your version of 1Click and I would also if you want to continue to back up upgade your 1Click and buy AnyDVD which gives you lifetime upgades and support. The combination of the 2 are unstoppable and I have to date never had a issue backing up any movie even the latest like Xmen 3 and others with the 2 working together!

Re: Can't copy with 1clickdvd

Also just found out that your dvd drive you are use'n is in a laptop and not a good DVD drive from all the chat of issues with it and dvd copy and burn issues.

http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=181030

You might also read all those posts on that and it may also shed light on issues you may be having.
Hope this all helps and welcome to the forum!!!!

Firstly your drive is only able to see your 16x media as 8x so try slowing your burn speed down to 4x and see if that helps any. Your media OPTODISC are not the best media to use - try and get some TY or Fuji (made in Japan) or Verbatium.

Also your 1click version 4.2.9.9 is 6 months out of date. This will cause you problems with newer movies especially when using DVD43 - latest version is 5.0.2.9
