I've been using the AnyDVD 5.5.1.1 trial version for a few days now, and I'm down to 12 days and I have yet to make a copy with it. With 1Click 4.2.9.1 I keep getting error encryption messages, with 1Click 4.2.1.5 I keep getting skipping bad sector message, with DVDShrink and Clone DVD I keep getting 'incorrect function' message.

Now these programs are not all running together. I have been uninstalling and reinstalling these programs so that they won't conflict with each other, and I have been removing every instance of the file whenever I uninstall and reboot.

For each DVD I put in, AnyDVD says that it has found and removed RCE protection, but it never says that I has found or removed bad sectors or removed bad sector protection. Is this why I am having a problem??? I'm running out of ideas as to how to fix the problem, I have read through many of the post looking for help and both 1Click and AnyDVD, but so far no suggestion is helping...what could the problem be?

Hello and welcome to the forum! There is a new update to anydvd! Version 5.5.4.1 came out 2 days ago! Go to the SLYSOFT website and download it and try again! Be sure to uninstal the version you have before installing the new one!

I just tried the newest version of AnyDVD with 1Click and it is telling me the same thing...skipping bad sector. I'll uninstall 1Click and reinstall my trial of CloneDVD and see if that works...but I'm really not hopeful at this point.

Ya helping others turns into an addiction if you are not careful!

Uninstall both software completely (AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 trials). Clean the registry. Install them again (www.slysoft.com). Use ONLY these two software to make a backup. Let's see what happens. It should work, like it does in case of many users.
