| Another coaster after updating.... I always seem to have a failure directly after updating 1ClickDVDCopy. I have attached the log which hopefully may indicate what the problem is. Thanks |

- as your 'preferred' Burn speed That's a little 'Slow' Considering your Burner and your Media used Some Burners just don't care for 6x Right Click on the 1Click Interface > Settings Menu >>Set= Your "Preferred Burn Speed" at 1/2 of your Media's rating ie: IF You're using 16x Media = Set for 8x ; 8x Media = Set for 4x ``````````````````````````````` Here's the Usual ..... Let's check something ..... Go to > Start > My Computer > Right Click on DVD drive > Properties > Auto-Play tab What do you have selected for the "Action to Perform" for 'DVD Movie" ? This should be set as "Take no action" OR Set only for your DVD Player ( WinDVD/PowerDVD ) - be sure to close your 'Player' before opening 1Click What do you have selected for the "Action to Perform" for 'Blank CD" ? This should be set as "Take no action" While here in the DVD Drive 'Properties" Do you have a "DLA" tab ? = Disable DLA ___________________ Would you happen to have - Nero ( InCD ) or Roxio ( DragtoDisc/ EasyArchive/ DirectCD ) - installed/active on your Computer ? FAQ : Can other software conflict with the installation and operation of 1Click DVD Copy? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here's some Help - with maybe ... reducing the load .... I'd recommend that you Try using EnditALL while Copying/Burning ... to free up your resources ... You might be surprised at what's running - in the background Open Advanced Windows Care Personal > Tools > Start-Up Manager ( it's completely free and a very recommended clean-up program ) You will be presented with a listing of the Programs - Programs that are designated to Start-Up with Windows - and Descriptions of Each ( Click on Selection ) Any Start Up Entry - Referring to any DVD/CD Software ? Windows Media Player ? ITunes ? If So = UN Check it This only Disables the Program - from the List - Designated to 'Start-Up' - with Windows You would - still - be able to 'manually' start the Program(s) - when needed Also ...... UN Check anything - Not Trustworthy UN Check anything - Not Necessary or Not Preferred ( you may click on an Start-Up item > Select Disable - If you prefer ) >> Apply > Reboot or - You could also , Go into Msconfig - and Deselect unneeded Programs - from your 'Start Up" This will help a lot ..... Do I really need this on my PC? How to use MSCONFIG ? ![]()

| Re: Another coaster after updating.... Wow! Thanks Shannon for your detailed reply. I've taken all of your advice and will let you know how it goes. BTW, Advanced Windows Care Personal is fantastic software and superior to Ashampoo WinOptimizer 4 which I paid for! I also got a response from 1Click and they suggested changing the write mode to "let burn engine decide" which is the opposite of the advice they have previously given. ![]() I should also mention that after I had the latest burn failure with 1Click, I had total success copying the same movie using the same media with DVD Shrink. ![]() |

DVDShrink doesn't Burn Did you mean Nero ? IMGBurn ? Try "Let Engine decide' - Since it was posted @ SAO .... In my experience "Try SAO First" is more Compatible Try the suggested settings and Try again I would need to see the 'adjusted' Log - to suggest further ![]()
