1click & copy to dvd

I have been using these 2 programs for about 3 weeks with no problems. All of a sudden I cannot burn any dvd's. I'm losing my mind. I would really appreciate it if anyone can help me here as I doo not know what to do.

Here is my latest log. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: 1click & copy to dvd

Change your media to Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.

Re: 1click & copy to dvd

Two questions: did you use an earlier version of 1clickdvdcopy before and just upgrade to 4200? I also noticed you are using CopytoDVD 3.0.52. Did you use a different (earlier) version of that and were burning DVDs with no trouble? If you used an earlier version of either with no problem, then go back to those versions. I use 1lclick4209 and copytodvd 3.0.55 with no problems, but the most 'stable' and 'problem-free' version of 1click was 4118, which can be d/l'ed from the 1click download site. Also, you can d/l a previous version of Copy to DVD from there also. I read your post, but it did not seem clear to if you had upgraded to a new version. If that's it, go back to the last version that worked for you.

Additionally, (but I'm not 100% sure about this) I've read that sometimes the Nvidia IDE controllers give people problems, and they have to basically uninstall them and then d/l the standard MS IDE controllers. It is a possibility, but I would copy that log and the 1click.log from your 1clickdvdcopy folder to 1click support with this question to be sure.

Re: 1click & copy to dvd

Try using a different type of media and use your burner as your source and destination. Make a working folder in your drive with more than 8 gig.

Try removing spy programs. I had the same problem. After SpySweeper all was well.

Re: 1click & copy to dvd

You are not using the latest version of 1Click, which is 4.2.9.2. Get it and uninstall your current 1Click and the separate CopytoDVD. You won't need it as it is integral to the later versions of 1Click. Use F7 and F8 to see logs and F9 to call up the interface to set your CopytoDVD settings.

If you have other burning software installed (Roxio DragtoDisc or Nero Incd) they can cause problems like this just by being installed, they do not have to be running. Alan1476's suggestions are good, as if you have changed media lately your burner's firmware might not be recognizing what you are using.
