it uses a free decypter for protected movie google dvd43 thats what it uses you do not need anydvd with 1click dvd copy pro although a vast majority do reccomend it.

that price you quote would give you 1click dvd copy 5 and the pro version,
the last time I visited the home page unless it was changed since yesterday??

Re: 1 click dvd pro will not copy protected dvd's

After my experience with it, the v4 of 1clickcopy (before it went Pro) never mastered the titles correctly. Given they went back on their promise of life free upgrades (they used to have it at their site and I have the old eula + other records that so stated), I'd say 1click can't be trusted to keep its word. Given that and Slysoft has kept its word, I'd highly recommend CloneDVD2 and AnyDVD--I've never had a single problem with either--whereas I had trouble several times with 1click not 'properly mastering' the title.

By the way, I used that free decrypter with 1click and found it rarely worked; I had to buy AnyDVD to do all the decrypting anyway. Buy it, and you won't have to worry about trying to find 'free' decrypters--and it is always frequently upgraded (sometimes within hours) after new copy protections are discovered.

dvd43 works great with 1click 5 or pro if you had updated to the newer version you would have known this the new cprx tech works great for removing all the copy protections alldvd43 does is remove Css protection now it used to work like Anydvd before cprx came ou tit would remove all protections and do error corrections which 1click was not able to do with say version 4.2.9.2 before cprx JFYI

Great to see you again Quema34, you ought to give LG Software another look, this is completely different product.

Never heard of it, but I do know that 1ClicktoDVD works fine if you install the free program they recommend that goes with it. Maybe " Google can help you find the other program.

Re: 1 click dvd pro will not copy protected dvd's

Alan, if I had unlimited money and I weren't already sold in part by Slysoft's essentially current policy of free lifetime upgrades, as well as CloneDVD2's performance with AnyDVD, I might try the new 1click. Problem is that I consider past performance and honesty as 2 very important things, so I can't justify paying for an 'upgrade,' since when I first bought 1click, it was 'hyped' much more over Slysoft (and when 1click had basically the same 'free lifetime' practice as Slysoft), but didn't give me the same mastering performance as CloneDVD2 has. Given those things, if 1click would want to give me a year free, I might consider it, but since that won't happen, I won't be considering the 1click upgrade for more money, when my current Slysoft product combination works perfectly well and has kept its word.

Re: 1 click dvd pro will not copy protected dvd's

I have to agree with Quema34.

On 9/11/2007 I renewed my license after I bought a new computer with the VISTA operating system, I had problems backing up double layer DVDs and had other issues with the operating system. This weekend I formatted my new computer and installed Windows XP. When I attempted to register 1 Click DVD Pro it said I was already registered on another computer.

Customer support gave the boiler plate response "According to our database, you have installed 1Click on a separate computer." I had used the program for several years but I will not pay to reregister a program just paid for six weeks ago.

A program can be really good but when the customer is treated poorly, it's time for a change. Thanks Quema34 for the recommendation to try CloneDVD2.

1 click dvd pro will not copy films using the custom settings, i remove trailers but keep the extras, mgm - lionsgate etc. caption will play but the film won't even though it has been recorded to the disc. i know this as when i place the dvd back in the tray & run 1 click dvd pro i can see the film on the disc using the screen on the top right. 1 click dvd pro support team state that it is the disc i'm using & referred me to 'dvd identifier', they said you should use a dvd within the 1st & 2nd class group, this i'm doing by using 'ridata - ritekG05' but to no avail. 1 click dvd pro support team are insisting that it's my discs, i need advise on how to rectify this problem.
