| Do ratDVD files work in Media Center? I came across ratDVD several months back and remember reading that Media Center support was in the works. Do ratDVD files made w/ the current version work in Media Center? I have tons of uncompressed DVD's on my MCE machine that if they work as ratDVDs it would be well worth saved HD space. |

| Re: Do ratDVD files work in Media Center? Not for me. On my brand new MCE box, ratDVDs play fine in WMP10. Initially, I had to nudge the seek bar to get it going. This problem seemed to disappear after reinstalling RatDVD. However, even though WMP10 is OK, Media Center is unable to play the file. The screen/borders change between blue and black a few times, then I get the "Stopped" screen, and a message saying that MCE is unable to play the video file. This is a bummer - I converted 2 movies to ratDVD on the merit that my test worked in WMP10 and that the home page showed screenshots from MCE working. Any ideas where to start looking for the problem? Ugumba |
