Re: sata burners with lightscribe

Hi and Welcome!

there are not much options for SATA+Lightscribe drives, since there are only 4 manufacturers left on the market.
  • Liteon
  • LG
  • Pioneer (no Lightscribe drives)
  • Samsung
So if you don't want a Liteon, then have a look at the LG SATA drives (H62L or similar) and the Samsung SH-S203N.

Hi
Welcome onboard pshown.
As already mentioned by mciahel, there's little choice.
If your experiences have put you off Lite-On or you don't feel a need to scan.
It leaves the LG GSA H62L or the Samsung SH-S203N*. Both of which are excellent drives.
* Samsung will scan with a reg hack. This scanning is minus the Jitter report function.
Some Sony/NEC Optiarc drives are LS capable, but they are Lite-On clones.

No need for that since Kprobe works also
