Plextor 740a/SW or 740a - bp?? - Club CDFreaks

I thinking of purchasing a plextor 740a because i've read it is really a benq 1640 which has recieved so many good reviews, but i'm baffled as to which one of these plextors to by, are they both based on the 1640 benq? Are their really any differnces, there is a $20usd price diff on new egg, the 740a/sw being the more expensive, what do you think?

p.s. i'll be burning mostly safe disc games, possibly dvds in the future.

so your saying sw is software?

who would use pextor's software over alcohol and nero anyway?
