| OEM or Retail I have been looking around for a DVD burner with LightScribe. I am considering the BenQ 1655 OEM version. The question that I am asking is; what kind of LightScribe software would I need to add for the BenQ, and what should I expect to pay for it? I am also considering the HP dvd840 retail unit which comes with the software. |

| Re: OEM or Retail There is some relevant information for you in the LightScribe FAQ. You will need LightScribe system software, and a labelling application. You can download this here, including the SureThing 4 SE labelling software which is free (I don't use it myself). There are also commercial labelling software included in some CD/DVD burning suites such as Nero.
