If you like F1, go with the LG. If you're more a Le Mans type of guy, take the Pioneer. It's a stroke of genius (but slightly make believe) vs. plain Jane excellence (but slightly boring) kind of thing.

No, it's just a figure of speech

. The LG is more uncompromising, all-or-nothing if you want, in the way it burns. The Pioneer is more rounded and forgiving.

I have both Drives the Pioneer is much better at high speed burning, yes it is excellent +R writer. The LG seems to prefer -R but it burns +R well at 8 and 12x with Yuden000 T02 and MCC also, but slightly higher jitter than the Pio.

I have a friend who owns a 2007 LG burner (forgot the model) and I can say that it's not that much noisier than my Pio 112. I'd be interested in a burner that sounds like, not as loud as, an F1 engine though. LOL.
So, which burner did you get if you have gotten one?
