I need Help

I have a BenQ DW1655 with Lightscribe but it doesn't burn anymore.. now I want to buy a new one.. I want to know Which DVD-writer is the best one I can choose who is a fast and good Quality I want to have:

Serail ATA, I'm using a motherboard Asus A8V-X with VIA K8T800Pro and a shouthbrigde VIA VT 8251

And I want also a driver how is burning good Daul Layer DVD+R 8.5Gb, I'm using most DVD+R 4.7GB.. but I want to have support of DVD+R and DVD-R. and I want also if possible a drive with LightScribe.. but with good quality burn DVD+R and DVD+R DL.

Is Serail ATA better, or is IDE better I mean in Quality of Burn?

Actually that isn't a review, but just the spec sheet...I can't find a review at CDF for that drive, but it does appear to support LS.

I thought you were telling me, not asking me if you had SATA connections...but I can google the specs for you...

You do have 4 SATA connections, but whether you have any available I couldn't tell you.

A DRIVER is software, a DRIVE is hardware.
I doubt a 203 can work with an via sata controller properly.

Re: I need Help

S203N supports LightScribe!, no only "seems"...
My 203N is the best LS writer sofar, very good image quality (on Verbatim MCC004 LS discs).

_chef_ is right , forget a SATA DVD-burner on VIA default sata ports.
Get an SiliconImage PCI-to-SATA add on controller card (example).
