| Drive Able To Read 4.7Gb DvDRAM Discs I need to get some data off a 4.7Gb DvDRAM but my LiteOn 1633S will not read it. Is there either a firmware upgrade to allow this to happen, or can somebody suggest a decent DvD drive which will read DvDRAM as well as standard DvD-+RW discs? Cheers |

| Re: Drive Able To Read 4.7Gb DvDRAM Discs That depends on the real DVD-RAM format and if it is supported by the reader aswell on the used Filesystem on the media. Mostly you need to install extra drivers on the reader side...

It is from their Panasonic DvDRAM standalone recorder I can't tell you what format it might be in. I am told I may be a chance of having Linus read the disc, as it reads all DvDRAM formats. Cheers |
