Buying a burner on Ebay?

I have seen good prices for various models and had previous buying electronics there. Anyone bought there? If not, where in the US would you rec. shopping? I am flexible on models.

Newegg only. Choices I can recommend are NEC 3550, Liteon 1693, LG 4167, and BenQ 1655 or 1650 when it finally arrives. You need to decide:

1. What media you are going to use.
2. Do you want +RW and +R bitsetting.
3. Do you want to rip.
4. Do you want to scan.

All the above burners will do a good job burning good media such as MCC and TY.
