| 2nd burner after NEC. Which would you choose between these... I own a Nec 3540 (L&D 1W5 fw) and works good I've to buy a second DVD recorder and I can choose between LG GSA-4165B and Lite On SOHW-1693S-01C and have to put it in a USB2 enclosure. The only question. Which one would you buy if in my place? thank you very much... |

I'm thinking about getting the LG 4165 because I need a good -R burner and the "first look" by Jan70 was impressive. In the past, LiteOns were better at burning +Rs. I'm curious to see how good the 1635s is going to be. But if you need a drive that's a good ripper and an excellent scanner, go with the LiteOn.
