| Sima SED-CM VHS to DVD? I had read in other forums that people were able to use the Sima SED-CM (which predates the CT-2 and other models) to get around the copy protection on VHS tapes. I got one, and it didn't do anything -- I still got the copy protection error. I want to take my aging VHS tapes and put them on DVD (where they presumably will last longer). Has anyone used the SED-CM successfully for this purpose? Or can someone explain why it might not work in my case? I'm going from a cheap VCR to a DMR-E60. |
