| Panasonic DMR-EX75 Remote Malfunction I recently bought a DMR-EX75EB DVD recorder which worked fine for the first few weeks. However since yesterday, no matter which button is pushed on the remote, the display on the recorder changes to "DVD 1" (or "DVD I" - can't tell which) and the recorder does nothing. Does something have to be reset, or do I need to return the recorder to the supplier? I can't find any mention of this problem anywhere. |

| Re: Panasonic DMR-EX75 Remote Malfunction To prevent confusion between multiple machines and remotes they have control codes. The number for the machine and the remote must match, so that the machine knows to respond to the right remote. Look for a section “When other Panasonic products respond to this remote control” in the manual under “Getting Started” in the manual (or similar). Try holding [enter] and [1] on the remote for 3 seconds. |
