| DVD Rec + Decoder + Video + TV = Nightmare I have a Panasonic DVD Recorder DMR-E55 A UPC digital decoder A Philps VCR and a A Philips Widescreen TV. Each piece of equipment has 2 scart sockets and the TV can accept RGB in AV1. I've connected the TV's Scart 1 to DVD recorder's Scart 1 Decoder's Scart 1(TV) to TV Scart 2 Decoder's Scart 2(Video) to DVD recorder's Scart 2. Cable to Decoder's signal in. Decoder's 'To TV/VCR' connector to the DVD recorder's RF in. I've left the video out of the equation coz if this all works, I'll stick that in the bedroom. However, try as I might I can't tune the DVD recorder into anything at all. When the video was in this position instead, it picked up the 20 or so channels and on AV2 it picked up whatever channel the decoder was digitally tuned in to. Now all I get is the decoder channel. I really really want the DVD recorder to find the normal cable channels but it says that there is no signal. Please help |
