| Creating chapters after recording I just transferred an old VHS tape (family videos) to a DVD with my Panasonic DMR-ES15. After recording, I tried to create chapters but, eventually, I realized I could only do this with a DVD-RAM. I had recorded to a DVD-R, but the manual says that when a -R disc is used, "Programs are recorded as a single title consisting of one chapter. Titles are divided into about 5-minute chapters after finalizing". So -- I finalized the DVD but I've still just got one long chapter. Where did I go wrong? |

Myself, I've a Sony that marks at 6 minutes intervals but these don't show anywhere but if you use your handset command it jumps according to those marks. Maybe it's the same with yours. Mine can produce selections only with DVD-RW like yours do with DVD-RAM. |

| Re: Creating chapters after recording The DMR ES15 should make chapters every 6-9 minutes but they don't show on the index , yet you can skip to them.
