I guess the virus fingerprinting services haven't picked up on this yet.

13/33 mark it as bad. Most think it is something called WMForce.b

Perhaps there's some other thing that can be done CK, to make this be seen as OK?

AVAST (which I have changed to) is now reporting 3.2.1.a as a Trojan and won't let me download it.

Is there something that can be done about this please?

I have reported to file to AVAST, who have responded very promptly and said they will fix their database and are sorry for the false positive. Better customer service than AVG, I must say.

Anyway, the patcher file should scan OK at least with AVAST. I'll leave it up to you, CodeKing, if you are interested enough in not having your program flagged incorrectly, to contact the other major virus services.

I get the same false positive with Avira and need to disable to run patcher. Will try contacting them as well.

Get the .exe flasher from the Samsung site and unpack it with WinRAR.

I did not have to unpack any *.rar file. The firmware i downloaded was an *.exe file w/o compression...No *.bin file insight.

You unpack the .exe as ala42 said to do. Flasher and .bin is inside the exe.

Does anyone have a mirror for the v3.2.1 patcher? It's nowhere to be found, only dead links everywhere.

EDIT: The rpc1 site now loads, takes ages to load the patcher page. Wish there was another easier way to get it.

EDIT AGAIN: Patcher page doesn't load. Back to square one.

Patch utility 3.2.1a

Rename the 1st file to .exe and the 2nd to .rar . Execute the .exe to uncompress the file.

PS. That's really difficult to post a .exe file here ....
