Help Please....Problem with Samsung SM-348B after T511COM firware update - Club CDFreaks

Hi,
Somebody please help me.I bought a samsung 348B 3 months back. It was working fine untill i updated the firmware from T504 to T511COM.

I used the sfdnwin tool to flash the .BIN file downloaded from samsung site. Now its not at all recognizing any cds. My systems device manager don't have any problem getting information on the drive.OS- XP home edition. Compaq Presario 5000 machine. The drive starts reading the cds for first 2/3 secongs and stops responding. I can see the drive in the explorer and when i try to read the CD content,

no response from the drive.

i know i will get a solution from this forum.I was fighting with this problem for the past 14 days. please save me........i'm getting sick on this....

Try a different firmware.

I tried to flash using MTKWINFLASH. The flash failed with "Input file format mismatched" error. I got the .BIN file from samsung site. Its a COM drive. What to do next....?

Try mtkflash in DOS.
