| NeroLINUX 2.0.0.3b is available! NeroLINUX 2.0.0.3b is now available at this page. ChangeLog for this version: (New) User is now able to select UDF track recording options A new tab has been added to the preference dialog box to let the user specify some UDF options for recording a data track. The user can now select the UDF file system revsion (from UDF 1.02 to UDF 2.01) and the partition type. (Update) Fixed buffer underruns with 2.6.13 and 2.4 kernels As many of you discovered, NeroLINUX was making lots of buffer underruns when recording at high speed with kernel 2.6.13 and 2.4 series. This is now fixed. Some additional bug fixes: * Fixed false errors when verifying an ISO track containing very small files Last edited by mathf; 21-09-2005 at 16:16. |

| Re: NeroLINUX 2.0.0.3 is available! No. This version was already under qualification when the problems occured. But do not expect too much from NeroLINUX. If NeroLINUX was working before and not anymore, I would say let's fix the kernel  |

| Re: NeroLINUX 2.0.0.3 is available! I agree with you 100%! That is if it's a kernel problem at all. I cannot find any info/bug-reports regarding similar problems with this kernel version, so I'm not sure if this is a kernel issue, or a NeroLINUX issue, if you get my point. Downgrading isn't my idea of fun, so I'll wait and just keep testing with the newest releases.... maybe it'll fix itself, maybe not. As long as my burning still works (so far so good) I'm happy. If I get problems I will downgrade again, it is that simple. The reason I asked is because I couldn't find any info regarding NeroLINUX and this kernel in your above post ;-) Out of curiosity though, have you also been able to reproduce this problem with 2.6.13? |
