Nero Linux Discuss, How to get nerolinux to see /dev/scd0 at Nero & InCD forum; I just installed nerolinux but it doesn't see my external usb drive /dev/scd0. What's up with that? Has anyone else run into this? I'm on Fedora core 4 2.6.13-1.1526_FC4smp any help would be appreciated

How to get nerolinux to see /dev/scd0

I just installed nerolinux but it doesn't see my external usb drive /dev/scd0. What's up with that? Has anyone else run into this?

I'm on Fedora core 4
2.6.13-1.1526_FC4smp

any help would be appreciated

modprobe sg (as root) would definitly help
NeroLINUX is using the SCSI Generic Interface to communicate with devices. So /dev/scd is not used... but /dev/sg is !
