| folder dates in NeroLINUX - again Hello NeroLINUX users: I've raised the following problem already at the NeroLINUX forum but did not get any reply. Later I asked it in the NeroLINUX 2.1.0.0 announce thread and also wrote directly to mathf. Did not get any response. Therefore I ask the question here again. NeroLINUX does not preserve folder/directory time stamps on burned media (even in its most recent 2.1.0.1 version). Every folder's time stamp get the current time. For me the time stamp (mostly creation time) is important when I do burn my data onto CD/DVD. What do you think is the reason that NeroLINUX does not preserve this information? Is it difficult to make the program like that or is this issue only disregarded by program developers? Please write if you required that the folder dates would be preserved. Thank you all for your reply in advance. |

| Re: folder dates in NeroLINUX - again I think it's a very relevant feature, and not even hard to implement IMHO. I second your proposal. BTW, I believe retaining the folder date (more precisely: directory modification time) is default in mkisofs. gibso(n) |
