| DVD Media Code Does NeroLinux show the media code (manufacturer and media type) of a DVD? I've been able to get this information using the following command in a terminal window, but it's a bit cumbersome: cdrecord -atip dev=[drive identification] Thanks, Modred |

| Re: DVD Media Code Of course you can gather such info with Nero Linux. But remeber that the ATIP is only valid for CDs. In order to get this information, open the 'Disc Info' dialog, and hold the 'Shift' key while clicking on 'Refresh'. You will see something comparable to the attached screenshot. To get more information about a disc, Hold 'Control' and 'Shift' while clicking on 'Refresh'. This is somehow a hidden feature ![]() |
