| 3rd party system tools configuration questions In the 3rd party system tools configuration part of the manual says that you must change the configuration of some programs, my questions are: 1. If I use the KDE do I have to change the config of the Gnome programs yet? 2. In page 12 part 2.3.2 says that you must change the path to other device than your recorder, the example path is "/dev/cdrom", but cdrom doesn`t refer to any specific device, how can I change this path if my recorder is the secundary master and the secundary slave is a DVD-ROM? I use Linux Red Hat 9 |

| Re: 3rd party system tools configuration questions Normally, if NeroLINUX detects 3rd party tools that can interfer with the burn process, it warns you at startup. For the Gnome CD-Player applet, if your recorder secondary master, then its device file will be /dev/hdc. |
