Video Output, Lite-On 5001 and other models

Hi all,

I've owned the Lite-On LVW-5001 model for a few months and I am happy with it. However, the Video Out does not work anymore. S-Video and Component works fine, but the RCA Video out results in a black, wazy, dark picture. There is also no option to select composite out in the setup menu, only s-video, component. I'm not sure if it's always been like this.

Also -- I would like to buy another Lite-On model, but I see there are many now... the 5005, 5006, 5007, 5101... which model is worth it? I'd like to spend less than $250 and get a stable model (with a fan). LOL. I'm in the United States.

thanks all,
Lou

Sears was asking 189. for the 5007 and I asked them to match there on line price of 169. no problem.
Im gonna stick with the Liteon.

On the 5005 you only have those two choices as well. I'm using component for viewing and switch out to S-video for recording so I can used the composite jack as a monitor output (the S-video output goes back to my switcher to feed a VCR).
