| recording from a combo tv I've tried searching and didnt see a topic like this, hope I'm not asking the same old question. I have a combo tv/dvd tv and would like to copy from the dvd any suggestions on how to do this? any help would be appreciated. I'm new at this. |

| Re: recording from a combo tv Welcome to the forum ![]() From what I am aware of, the majority of TV/DVD combos will only take an input signal. If it supports an option to output the video, you should see RCA or SVHS outputs on the back of the TV set. Unfortunately, if all you see are AV inputs, then it is not possible to copy from its DVD player to an external device, whether it be a VCR, a DVD recorder or any other recording equipment. If you do have AV outputs on the back of your TV, just beware that the signal will be protected by Macrovision if you play a movie or another disc that uses Macrovision. ![]() |
