I'd hate to see what your hard drive temperatures are running at ? Your computer will not last long if it's in the same room....... Your hard drives will go first!

Lol!
Oz is commonly at 40degC over summer, an in the high 30's in spring & much of autumn .... my HD's seem fine (currently 3-4 @7200rpm in each machine), even though they run hot

Re: What's the temperature where you are?

Well, after the hottest July ever recorded in Belgium, we're freezing here atm. Not even 16°C (61°F) max. today, down to 13°C (55°F) by 6.00PM already where I am.

Re: What's the temperature where you are?

75°F with a forcast high of 85°F...
Very smokey due to numerous wildfires in the area, so the AC remains on and the windows stay shut...

It was smokey here the other day, but that's 'cos my neighbours had a bonfire...like you with your AC, I had my fan and the windows shut.

Re: What's the temperature where you are?

A large windstorm came through last night with dry lightning and started about a dozen fires in the surrounding area...The power went about 9:00PM and hasn't been restored yet...Fortunately my generator has enough fuel for 48 hours...

Re: What's the temperature where you are?

We’ve had some fantastic weather for a couple of days. It actually dropped into the high 50’s at night and was in the 70’s during the day. I took a drive to Sag Harbor for lunch. It was really a great day and when you add all the attractions you understand why so many people who live here don’t want to move. The major problem is the cost of living is so high it’s rough on the middle class and especially rough on senior citizens that are living on a fixed income.
