I always seem to see Lexmark printers really cheap these days.

I read a few weeks back that HP was selling their ink for about $8,000.00 a gallon when you calculate out the cost per cartridge. The printer sales model is to effectively give away the printer and bend you over when you buy ink. It's based on the Gillette sales model of giving away the razor and charging top dollar for the blades.
