Re: Pull Up A Chair.....

Hi to everyone

I just joined this very informative looking forum.

I'm fortycoughcough something, married with 2 kids, 1 at Uni, the other is 15 yrs old.

I run a small home based business.

I love my computer although I'm not very technically minded, I came here to learn.

I love most music, one of my favourite bands is REM, I also like HIM/ Muse/ Placebo/Rammstein.

Re: Pull Up A Chair.....

Hi Tuskertong is my online name, reason for it is, I was sick of being told username used when I signed in to any forums. Since I used CyberTown 3D virtual town with it there have been quite a few pirates of Tuskertong
I have had a career as a soldier but now I have retired. I did do night school for Web Design and achieved London City & Guilds cert with credits, yawn, "WAKE UP AT THE BACK, I'LL BE ASKING QUESTIONS LATER!!"

I joined this forum in order to learn computing on a wider scale, plus my kids like watching vids and listening to music. As I know nothing about CD's or DVD's here saeemed the right place to be.

Re: Pull Up A Chair.....

I'm Elizabeth and I found cdfreaks by searching for 99 minute CDs for the person I work for. She burns audio books and the club she belongs to sometimes has CDs longer than 80 minutes, thus she ends up losing a whole CD because it was 2-3 minutes short.

The only place I've found 90-99 minute CDs are in the UK and then I found your site and am hoping I can get some assistance.

I live in Oklahoma City, am 51 and married - no children. I'm not very technically oriented when it comes to things like this, but I can learn. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help!

Re: Pull Up A Chair.....

Hi, My name is Tyrone.

I live in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada

I've been a member (well guest) of CDFreaks for about 2 or 1 months
(Why would I check how long i've been a member i just estimate)

(i'm actually a guest... shhhh don't tell anyone),

I love using (Brackets) all the time and "Quotation Marks"

I'm new to this CD burning stuff and all

Love playing electric guitar

I'm the guitarist and lead singer in my band "Mobile Infantry"
(please don't say infantry is always mobile... infantry can be stationary too you know)

Sadly ... I almost got pemanently banned when I was a uber-noob and thought that threads get closed after being inactive for a while... I asked for freeware 3 times not knowing I wasn't allowed to ask for freeware... Then I got banned for three days.
I missed CDFreaks Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very Much

And that is really all I have to say...

Welcome to the forum ...you actually got sin-binned for asking for help with illegal downloads twice, which forum rules don't allow

BTW, you can use the Edit button for 30 minutes instead of creating more posts.

Asking for freeware is allowed. Asking for help in illegal copying, however, is not allowed. Doing it a second time after being warned was the reason for your "holiday" from the forum.

If you just respect the rules of these forums, I think you'll find this is a very good place for getting information, and the Living Room is a fun place to hang out.

EDIT: The resident kitty beat me to it.
