I don't think you've emphasised the ήоятуήεςς enough, but I guess that's ok, because everyone will find out soon enough, now that you're back to terrorise the annals of cdfreaks

Just to say hello

I don't know if I am in the right post for my presentation, but let me just say that I am very happy to be part of this forum. I'm a french speaking girl, not too young neither too old to be part of this community I hope.

Just started learning about burning CD and DVD, the whole works and loving it. I'm not too familiar with the forum community yet. Hope you will help me complete my education in this field.

Be seeing you. Thanks.

Re: Pull Up A Chair.....

Hi People,

Wow, what a reading, to know a little bit of the people here inside cdfreaks.

Ok, here is mine dirty laundry.

My nickname is Timbo61, That’s the name friends gave me in the past.
I was made in 1961 by my father and mother I guest.
Married and no children, however…..I am the biggest.
I like to laugh, and fooling around in this crazy world we living in.
Also I love music and movies all kind.
Working in front of the computers.

Oops I forgot Living in cold rainy Holland, you know that little place on the world near the moon and the sun.

Ok what else can I tell…..
I hope never to be a grownup cause I like the kid in me.
So you see I am insane too.
Well that’s all for now.

The next time I will tell you about mine goldfish…

Re: Pull Up A Chair.....

Hello...My name is Sue and live in IN..I'm old also 51 and married 21 yrs..So far so good, I'm thinking it may last. I have two sons, stepson 33 and adopted son 12, quite an age difference.
I just happen to find cdfreaks doing a search for something I need and know very little about, cd rom/dvd internal..I found some helpful info on here but still going to look before I decide..Really hoping I can get the info I need on here before I buy..
I do a lot of volunteer work and am a stay at home mom..It doesn't sound like I have as much of an exciting life as most of you. Maybe someday I'll have a real exciting life, but at my age I don't think I can take a lot of more excitement...Just spend a lot of time online just looking around..
Thats about it ..Just really glad to have stumbled on to cdfreaks, now maybe I can find the things I need..

Hi John, welcome to the forum ....enjoy your stay!

(And happy birthday!)

As for your problem, that sounds like it could be a problem with the discs you're using - maybe start a new thread in the Newbie Forum, giving some details of what discs you're using?

Re: Pull Up A Chair.....

hey guys...my name is tony, and i am a freshman at carnegie mellon university in the united states. i am studying electrical and computer engineering/computer science (and might minor in piano performance...not really sure yet). i read cdfreaks regularly, but usually dont post very often (hence the low post count). i first started reading about 4 years ago when i was interested in cd copy protections (i read this forum and the clone.cd portal). ah, i remember the days of clone-cd and people arguing about why exact copies of discs were so much better than emulators. times have definitely changed now. but i am definitely obsessed with optical drives and media. i have a benq 1655 back at home that i am missing greatly. :/
besides being a computer nerd...i like to play piano and soccer, listen to music (mostly classical or rock), read books, and watch movies from imdb's top 250 list. i am in the same boat as Sexy_Southerner and wazzy as far as relationships are concerned. thats about it for me!

Hey All!,

Pioneer_91's the forum nick as you can see, real name = not important

I'm a 15 year old student from the UK (16 real soon) somewhere, somehow I picked up this interest which is DVD backup & authoring, so I came here in a quest for knowledge!

Other interests include; General Computing, watching movies, Body-building & Fitness/Sport, aswell as the typical stuff us 15 year old brit's do....

Looks like I am in the right place thus yet, knowledge truly is power,... that should be adequate for now

See you around fellas!

Re: Pull Up A Chair.....

Hello all,

My name is Heidi, I am 29years old, married to a wonderful much older husband (no didn't marry for the $$$, he has none! LOL ) no kids, 2 dogs and Live in upper MI.

I work at a casino in IT dept for the last 3 years, before that a slot tech for 5 years.

My husband and I are both movie buffs which brought me to this forum to begin with. I'm a new registered user, but not new to this forum. Love to go through and see all the pics of "other users"! That's a good thread!!

I've learned a lot about burners and the software out there thanks to cdfreaks and it's members.

Re: Pull Up A Chair.....

Hi people, my name is Wayne. The screen name is something I came up with because all the good ones were already taken. I'm 56 years old, tho most of the time I feel like I'm in my 30's (sometimes I feel 2 days older than dirt)
I'm married to a fantastic woman for the past 23 years.
I work a 7 day rotating shift at a glass manufacturing plant.
Things I do outside of surfing are fishing (freshwater), motorcycle riding, weight lifting, and playing with the grandchildren.
I have a Rottweiler house dog named Daisey and a cat named Barney.
I'm not a cdfreak, I only have 9 burners.
