Thought I'd dig up this nice thread for some good vibes

While I was returning my shopping trolley at Morrison's, I saw that someone had left a holdall hooked on another trolley (a quick peek inside showed someone's purse

), so I handed it in - let's hope it's reunited with it's owner, I've lost my purse/wallet before and it's not a nice experience.

Also, my mum bought me a nice big bunch of pink chrysanthemums while we were shopping - very pretty, they are

. It is SUCH a hassle when you lose cards, addresses, notes, diaries etc: let alone the cash. Someone I knew kept their eternity ring in their purse, and guess what...

Coincidentally this morning the man in the paper shop accidentally gave me change for a £20 note when I only gave him a tenner. I didn't notice in the rush for the train but afterwards realised I had way too much dosh. I'll give him a surprise tomorrow morning by being Mr Honest

Not certain if this is correct forum but it is happy to me..

My sister, Connie, had surgery on both her ears this week and can finally hear for the first time in her 48 years

It is really something to see her amazed by sounds that we rarely even give a second thought to

Great news!

I am so happy for her. A whole new life starting now. I guess she won't even sleep at night any more, listening to the sounds she missed all these years.
I wish we'd hear great things like this more often.

Maybe she 'll like the sound of a drive burning a disc and join us?

years later.
She had a stroke (aneurysm)20y ago and the only gave her 3 months.

Called our Internet Service Provider today about a support issue.

After discussing the support thing, the ISP supporter asked whether we wanted to convert our subscription to a faster and cheaper subscription... "uh, yes please" was my answer (well it was longer and in Danish, but that was the gist of it).

A few hours later and we now have twice the download speed, twice the upload speed, and a 20% reduction in monthly fee.

I guess the concept of "service" isn't completely dead yet!
