| Legal Music Downloads Given the choice between A: Legal Music Service (Rhapsody, iTunes, etc.) legal, but supports the RIAA. and B: P2P, illegal, free, and taking. Do you buy the CD's you download? Would you pay for music if it didn't help the RIAA? |

Don't use services mentioned under A... Sometimes use Kazaa, but mostly for a single song to check it out...and when I find the CD and other songs are good too, I'll buy the CD.

| Downloading illegal mp3s could never replace the pleasure of having bought an original cds, with all the original craftsmanship placed on the covers, lyrics and other extras you get from time to time. My only wish is that the 'generalisation' placed on downloaders could be diminished, so we could enjoy all the wonderful possibilities provided by the internet. Oh, and one last thing....could somebody tell somebody who has the authority to get rid of the copy protection please....I JUST WANT TO BACK UP MY ORIGINAL MOTHERF*C*I*G CDs FOR CHRIST SAKES!!! |

| I download most of my stuff... I like alot of old tunes and such, and it's nice to know the RIAA and it's artists want to wring every penny out of timeless classics like "Jenny 867-5309" by Tommy Tu-Tone and "She's a Beauty" by the tubes.... I'm such a thief. I should be jailed for bad taste in enjoying 80's music than "stealing" songs. I have bought a few CDs recently, only because I was unable to get to my mp3 collection, a computer, or any internet.... Driving a long ways can get mighty boring with no tunes you LIKE. Where is the Anti-RIAA unibomber when you need him?
