haha that page is very aptly titled "la carretera mas peligrosa del mundo"

that looks ridiculous. I get nervous when contruction workers put up the cones to narrow the lanes on the highway haha

This is a good example for the "Windows Vista: Bad Name" thread (it's an old comparison but I'm sure you know that 'suspenders' in the UK are these, rather than the US etc where they are these). When about 16 I used to work in Burton's (a men's tailors) for a holiday job, it was vaguely and childishly amusing for a while

to hear American shoppers come in and ask if we had any suspenders. When we said "Aha, you mean 'braces'?", they thought we meant the metal things for their teeth.

I took that road in 1994 while working in Peru and taking a week off to go to Machupichu, Lake Titicaca, and the coca market in Coroico (research

) ...I was a passenger on the trip there and drove back the following day...The worst part of the trip was the altitude sickness, made worse by a 2 hour wait at the summit waiting for snow removal...
