Home is where the heart is ....

Everyone knows the phrase, the question is whether there is truth behind it.

But everyone carries a sense of belonging and interacts with the rest of the world according to their senses.

The question is ... do you live, where you heart is?

Tell us where your heart is, and where you live!

Re: Home is where the heart is ....

Parts of my heart are in different places - with my family, with whoever I'm personally attached to at the time...but most of it is here at home, yes, because I'm a real homebody, and always find myself itching to get back here whenever I go away (which isn't much these days as I couldn't leave the cat).

Make of that what you will, I hope it makes sense

Re: Home is where the heart is ....

The last time I cried like hell, was when someone showed me a picture book of the landscape where I was born. I had no idea that I really missed it. That was 6 years ago.
I´m pretty sure that´s where my heart is...

Did you ever go back to the place where you grew up? I looks different the street is shorter, the house and lot smaller; every small change seems bad. Sometime you just can't go back - just keep the memory.

Yeah, Ive done that. Not difficult since I still live in the city where I was born.

In fact, I spent my earliest years (up until I was about 4 years old) a few streets away from where I live now. Hasn't changed much.
