can't connect to IRCNet

getting this mesage:

Closing Link: Maelstrom[unknown@(my IP adres here)] (Unauthorized connection)

when connecting to others i have no problems.

It is because you are unwanted.

Try downloading the newest version of Java.
If that doesn't work, your firewall of virus scanner may interfere.
If you don't have a firewall or virus scanner, you should get one, and I cannot answer your question.

Your problem lies with stealthnet. They usually have alot of problems and I get that message quite often.

I have a DVD recorder and cannot get it to copy DVD's. I have borrowed a few from friends and they all say they ared restricted from duplication! I know you can not copy rentals BUT what is the purpose of this machine if it cannot copy? HELP!!!!
I can not figure it out. It does, however, work from VCR to DVD...........It is NOT on my computer, it is on the TV. I do have a CD burner on the computer, can I use it?

Wrong thread buddy. Wow, never have seen a more offtopic post...

The reason you "cannot get it to copy" is because either you are using the wrong software or maybe your dvd burner cant copy a certain protection just like cd-drives.

Nevermind the severety of the response, look at where the question is placed. A question about a DVD drive in the chat topic thread. Its funny, he even wrote out the topic. I believe I answered with about as much control as is possible.

The college restricts all ports excepts the ones it monitors very closely. I can get Piolet to work though.
