Can I copy a DVD to a Hard Drive? - Club CDFreaks

Hi. I was wondering if it is possible to copy an entire DVD-movie to a hard drive, and then play it off the hard drive. If so, what program would I need, and what DVD-ROM would you recommend?

Use DeCSS, it can copy the entire DVD to HDD without the CSS protection scheme...

Good DVD Drive....ehhh dunno...i personally have a Crative Kit but this sucks with reading CD-ROMS...but it's regionfree so i'm not complaining..

DeCSS can you find about anywhere on the net..just type it in you favorite searchengine

yeah, DeCSS takes away the protection, but it takes a long time to do it, but it's worth it if you want the movie.

Look at my post, I have edged it out to two...the Pioneer 16X and the AOpen DVD 16X.
This is just my recommendation.

Save targer as...
