| Re: A blonde moment My mum's boyfriend just had one heck of a blonde moment: Mum: We just bought and downloaded a guide on how to put our karaoke stuff and play them on our HDD... Me: OK... *Mum passes the phone to her boyfriend* Him: I had to install Adobe Reader, so I switched off the firewall... Me: YOU DID WHAT??? Him: Oh you can't be hacked or get a virus in a couple of minutes... *Cue me explaining through gritted teeth* Innocence is bliss. My mum knows more about PCs and the Internet than he does, but he's like a lot of (not all) blokes when it comes to that stuff - always right, especially when arguing with someone of the female persuasion ![]()

| Re: A blonde moment PREGNANT TURKEY STORY One year at Thanksgiving, my mom went to my sister's house for the traditional feast. Knowing how gullible my sister is, my mom decided to play a trick. She told my sister that she needed something from the store. When my sister left, my mom took the turkey out of the oven, removed the stuffing, stuffed a Cornish hen, and inserted it into the turkey, and re-stuffed the turkey. She then placed the bird(s) back in the oven. When it was time for dinner, my sister pulled the turkey out of the oven and proceeded to remove the stuffing. When her serving spoon hit something, she reached in and pulled out the little bird. With a look of total shock on her face, my mother exclaimed, "Patricia, you've cooked a pregnant bird!" At the reality of this horrifying news, my sister started to cry. It took the family two hours to convince her that turkeys lay eggs! Yep.................SHE'S A BLONDE!

| Re: A blonde moment Yes, another blonde moment to report. I went to get my hair cut at the mall on the way home from work tonight. After sitting through nearly an hour of tedious hair related conversation (yu shouldn't use elastic bands to tie your hair back, why don't you get highlights blah blah) with a stylist called Luca [...I've got to interrupt myself as this point... this guy was actually called Luke, but preferred people to call him Luca... I ask you... who would want to call themselves after a place in FFX. I did ask him that, but he didn't know what I was going on about] Ok, so "Luca" got a bit carried away with the blow drier and I left the place with huge bouffant hair, which apparently had some capacity destroying effect upon my brain. I left the mall and couldn't find my car at all. I walked around for about 15 mins (it's a big mall) with no luck - so I started pressing the emergency panic button on the remote to see if I could find it. It worked eventually... I had parked in a completely different area of the mall... underground... ![]()

| Re: A blonde moment There was this helicopter pilot whose job was to ferry VIP's from Seattle airport to downtown. One day he found himself with a passenger in a pea soup fog somewhere over downtown Seattle. No landmarks were visible and the passenger became panicky. The pilot said "Don't worry" and very gradually let the helicopter down until it was hovering opposite the window of a large, unidentifiable building. The pilot motioned to a woman working in the building to open her window and asked her "Where are we?" The woman responded "You are in a helicopter." The pilot immediately lifted the helicopter above the building tops, flew a mile and a half, let it down through the fog, and hit the landing pad dead center. The amazed and relieved passenger said "How on earth did you do that?" The pilot said: "It was simple. The information the woman gave me was precisely correct and totally useless. I knew that she had to be working at the 'Microsoft Customer Support Center'."

| Re: A blonde moment I brought this back up just to mention not one, but TWO Blonde Moments I had today ![]() First, I was at the checkout in Asda buying my groceries and realised I'd forgotten my purse...luckily my mum paid for my shopping ![]() The second one was even worse...got inside the building to see that I'd left the door to my flat wide open. Thank God you have to get inside the building first in order to get inside my flat, and the main door was shut tight. My insurance would have been worth nowt if anything had been stolen 'cos I left the door open. ![]() ARRRGGGHH! ...all this, I suspect, is because I was sidetracked by my nice delivery this morning...plus I'm not used to seeing mornings ![]()

Don't panic - I'm a blonde (medium blonde) myself, so something's sure to go wrong in full view of the public. Or maybe it already has and I'm too blonde to have discovered it... (I remember something about "god media"...) | |
